Veronica Simioli between tradition and experimentation
The Neapolitan artist, with a transversal musical background that embraces genres such as pop, r'n'b, techno, musical and singer-songwriter, will be joined for the occasion by the KamAak Ensemble. Together they will guide the audience in a sound story that crosses eras and genres, from songs of emigration to those of prison and war, from serenades to ritual tammurriate. A musical mosaic that unites celebration and introspection, community and romanticism.
Tributes to Di Giacomo, Bruni, Mattone and Daniele
During the evening there will be moments of great emotional intensity, with tributes to the greats of Neapolitan music: from Salvatore Di Giacomo to Sergio Bruni, from Claudio Mattone to Pino Daniele. All this is part of the “Core” program, an artistic collective that aims to subvert the traditional concept of entertainment through heterogeneous languages.
Simioli's vision: "We will be free, we will be alive"
“*Songs of sirens and other stories was born from the desire to exalt and preserve the cultural depth of our land,” Simioli says. "I want to take the audience into a web of stories, notes and songs, accompanied by the powerful interpretation of the ensemble that will share the stage with me. It will be an emotional journey, made of dance, song and catharsis. We will be free, we will be alive."
Peppe Lanzetta as director and Eddy Napoli as guest
Fundamental contribution by Peppe Lanzetta, author and director of the show, who with his dry and genuine style gives scenic form to the artist's emotions. Among the special guests is also Eddy Napoli, historic voice of the Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare, who will contribute to making the connection with the musical roots of the city even deeper.
