Casalnuovo di Napoli – An innovative idea, the result of study, experience and social sensitivity: “CioccAut” is launched, the laboratory dedicated to the production of chocolates and chocolate-based products, promoted by CSN – Centro Studi Nappi APS, and aimed at people with high-functioning autism spectrum disorder, adults and children in transitional age.
The workshop represents the first concrete action of the regional project “BLU ART – Communication difficulties can create art”, funded by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Minister for Disabilities as part of the Public Notice of the Campania Region for direct interventions for people with autism spectrum disorder.
What makes CioccAut even more special is the fact that it was born from research conceived and conducted by Giovanni Nappi, president of the CSN, who has been committed for years to promoting inclusive educational and cultural paths: “The CioccAut brand is the result of theoretical work that we wanted to transform into action,” says Nappi. “We chose chocolate because it is engaging, multisensory, joyful. We will try to move from the production of chocolates to solidarity sales.”
The activities will be hosted in Casalnuovo, in the spaces of the Parco delle Chiocciole.
The workshop is completely free and has 10 places available. Calendar, with days and times, and start date will be communicated after the composition of the first group of participants.
