Last night, the Police State Police arrested a 19-year-old Tunisian for attempted robbery and resisting a public official.
In particular, the officers of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, during the territorial control service, while passing through via Egiziaca in Forcella, noticed a man who attracted their attention while he was tightly holding a subject who was struggling in an attempt to escape.
The operators, who intervened immediately, blocked the suspect, ascertaining that, shortly before, he had approached a couple of American tourists and managed to take possession of the woman's cell phone, after having pushed her, and then attempted to escape but had been blocked by the latter's companion.
The suspect, once secured by the officers, continued to engage in violent conduct, pushing and kicking the officers who, with considerable difficulty and after a scuffle, arrested him.
