Marano – “Idiot, I’ll make you cry”, “you’re ugly”, “bombhead”, “monster”, up to a chilling “you’re death”. These are just some of the shocking phrases uttered by a teacher of a nursery school in the Naples area, addressed to her little students.
The teacher, who was banned for 12 months, was caught by a camera installed in the classroom by the Carabinieri Marano of Naples, following complaints from three mothers concerned about the ailments manifested by their children, two little girls and a little boy.
The images, defined by investigators as "a horror film", document insults, threats, slaps and tugs. The teacher, responsible for the care and education of the little ones, allegedly even ordered the children not to see their parents again if they had not eaten, forcing those who were vomiting to hide the food in their backpacks.
The videos, part of the investigation coordinated by acting prosecutor Anna Maria Lucchetta, show the children being mocked, denigrated and thrown onto desks and chairs.
The interdiction order, issued by the investigating judge of Naples North at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, was notified to the teacher, who will now have to answer to the serious charges of mistreatment. The investigation was triggered thanks to the promptness of the parents, who reported to the police the signs of distress of their children, bringing to light an event that has shaken the local community.
