And during the same a 20 year old with no criminal record was wounded by a bladed weapon in the abdomen. The young man, whose condition was judged to be of reserved prognosis but not in danger of life, was allegedly involved in an assault that occurred shortly before his arrival at the hospital in Aversa.
According to initial reconstructions, the boy was found in Via Roma in Melito, where he attempted to quell a fight that broke out between some youths.
It was during this mediation attempt that an as yet unidentified individual allegedly struck him with a knife, causing the wound to the abdomen. The soldiers of the Melito Company, who intervened promptly, began investigations to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the facts.
The images of the violent fight, filmed by some witnesses with smartphones, are making the rounds on the web, becoming viral on social networks. The military is now analyzing the videos to identify all the participants in the brawl and clarify the roles of each in the incident.
The investigations, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, continue to identify the perpetrator of the stabbing and to reconstruct precisely the chain of events that led to the two episodes of violence. Carabinieri they are carrying out a series of targeted checks in the area to prevent further episodes of violence.
