Naples – A 21-year-old from Marano was wounded by a gunshot this morning in via Sant'Ignazio di Loyola, in the Vomero area.
The young man, despite the wound on his foot, managed to reach the emergency room of the Cardarelli hospital on his own, where he was treated with a yellow code.
According to a preliminary reconstruction yet to be confirmed, the boy was walking when he was approached by two men riding a scooter. The two, for no apparent reason, shot him and then disappeared in a direction still unknown.
I Carabinieri of the Vomero Company have started the investigative operations first by analyzing the images from the public and private surveillance cameras in the area and are trying to reconstruct the exact dynamics.
The Carabinieri are verifying the veracity of the story
We are also looking for witnesses to certify the truthfulness of the injured man's story because it is quite strange that this was a casual act and an attack with no apparent motive.
The 21-year-old, stable and out of danger, was treated and kept under observation. Doctors extracted the bullet, which will be analyzed to trace the weapon used.
