Naples – A heartfelt appeal comes from the doctors of 118 Naples on the eve of the match Napoli-Cagliari, which could deliver the city the long-awaited championship. “Celebrate at home, go out on the streets as little as possible,” is the invitation of the Nessuno tocchi Ippocrate (NtI) Association, which fights against attacks on healthcare workers.
What is worrying is the risk of chaos linked to the recent seismic swarms in the Campi Flegrei, where 70 thousand people are concentrated. "A mass evacuation would be extremely complex and hindered by the celebrations", explains the president of NtI, Manuel Ruggiero, to Adnkronos Salute.
The city is preparing for the game with an extraordinary traffic plan: closed roads, no parking or stopping near hospitals, and special attention to traffic. But the concerns don't end there.
“The hordes of people on scooters without helmets, injuries and road accidents are another risk,” adds Ruggiero. “We already struggle in ordinary circumstances, let alone during a championship party.” The appeal is clear: prudence and responsibility to avoid health emergencies and ensure everyone’s safety.
