Torre del Greco – A robbery attempt ended in bloodshed last night in Torre del Greco, in via Calastro, where a man was seriously injured with a knife by the same victim who reacted to the attack. The alleged robber is now hospitalized with a red code and in danger of life at the Ospedale del Mare in Naples.
According to an initial reconstruction by the State Police investigators, who are conducting the investigation, the man, whose personal details have not been released, approached a couple who were on a scooter, trying to rob them.
However, the young man driving the scooter, in the company of his girlfriend, has reacted promptly. A fight ensued during which the robber was injured with a knife, presumably by the victim himself.
The attacker was the one who got the worst of it in the fight, and was rescued and rushed to the hospital. The exact dynamics of what happened are still being ascertained by the Police, who is trying to reconstruct every detail to clarify the entire sequence of events.
