Nola – A large-scale fire broke out late this afternoon in a warehouse used for storing plastic materials inside the Nola Interporto, in lot D1. The flames spread over an area of approximately three thousand square meters.
According to initial information, the employees had already left the warehouse for the afternoon closing time when the fire broke out, and there were no injuries.
Several fire engines arrived on the scene and are working hard to put out the blaze. The fire has generated a tall column of black smoke, visible from several kilometers away, rising into the sky. At the moment, the causes that triggered the flames are still to be ascertained.
