Contents
Scheduled for June 18 in the evocative Cortile delle Carrozze of Palazzo Reale, the event confirms itself as a moment of reflection and action for a sustainable future, celebrating the 25 years of activity of Capone & BungtBangt, European pioneers of eco-music with instruments made from recycled materials.
An afternoon of workshops and an evening of music and commitment
From 18:XNUMX p.m., the public will be able to participate in free workshops (subject to availability): the workshop “Tu Come lo Fai? Bring your recycled instrument!” will involve children and adults, with performances by Neapolitan students and young Ukrainians from the Infanzia Felice APS project. A collective jam session with recycled instruments will follow, open to all.
In collaboration with Napoli Pedala, a gathering of cyclists will promote sustainable mobility towards Palazzo Reale.
At 21 pm, the concert “Femmena, Vita e Libertà” will be the heart of the evening, dedicated to women who fight for rights and the environment. Among the international guests: Milly Borrego (Cuba) with dance and stories about the Cuban resistance, Cristina Donadio (Naples) with a monologue from “Storiacce” about the children of Parco Verde, Dalal Suleiman (Palestine) with the poem “Tre generazione” by Rafeef Ziadah, and Francesca Zazzera (Greenpeace) with a speech about the Land of Fires.
Also on stage will be Rosalba Di Girolamo, Ismahan Hassen, Fabiana Martone, Rozita Shoaei and Action Women (Africa). The evening will be enriched by the live painting of Trisha Palma and the opening of the Frente Murguero Campano.
A Manifesto of Culture and Change
Supported by Greenpeace, Legambiente, Amnesty International and other entities, the event is proposed as a model of participation and ecological rigor. "Culture can be a driver of change, with concrete actions and the universal language of music", says Maurizio Capone, Champion of Circular Economy (Legambiente) and Honorary Member of Musica contro le mafie.

The event looks interesting but I don't know if I'll be able to go. The workshops are open to everyone but there isn't much information on how to participate. I hope it's well organized to involve more people.
