Quarto, nightlife under threat: Carabinieri raid at dawn

Quarto – A night of tight controls just passed in Quarto, where the Carabinieri of the local station, together with the military of the Radiomobile Unit, patrolled the main streets of the " movida ".

Operation “Alto Impatto” aimed to guarantee the safety of citizens and combat widespread illegality, leading to a significant number of reports, seizures and administrative sanctions.

Armed people in the premises and stolen license plates

The most disturbing information emerged from a search of a 27-year-old man with no criminal record, found in possession of a 9-centimeter knife. The young man was immediately charged with illegal possession of a weapon.

Equally significant is the position of a 40-year-old man, already known to law enforcement, who was stopped during a checkpoint. Inside his vehicle, officers found two stolen license plates, as well as a collection of altered keys and burglary tools. The man will now face charges of receiving stolen goods and unauthorized possession of lock picks.

Zero tolerance on the road: a barrage of fines

The Carabinieri's investigation did not spare the Highway Code. Of the 40 vehicles checked, 5 were seized. The violations detected led to 10 fines being issued, totaling nearly €12. Among those reported were two people caught driving without a license for the second time in two years.

By dawn, the military's final report had identified 42 people. Furthermore, in the fight against narcotics, two young men were reported to the Prefecture as drug users.

Law enforcement remains vigilant: the goal is to ensure that nighttime entertainment does not become a breeding ground for crime and road safety.
