Torre del Greco – A violent attack occurred overnight in Torre del Greco . Around 4:00 a.m. this morning, Carabinieri from the local station responded urgently to the emergency room at Maresca Hospital, where a 39-year-old man had presented with serious stab wounds. The man, a local resident already known to law enforcement, had twelve stab wounds to various parts of his body.

According to an initial and summary reconstruction of the events, still being examined by investigators, the 39-year-old was the victim of a violent brawl that broke out on Via Vittorio Veneto. The motives that sparked the fight and the identities of the other participants remain unknown at this time.

Due to the severity of his injuries, the patient underwent immediate surgical intervention. He remains hospitalized with a guarded prognosis; his condition remains under observation, but fortunately, his life is not in danger. Doctors are evaluating his transfer to a better-equipped hospital in Naples in the coming hours.
