Naples: The Prefect increases security at the Business Center following a serious incident of violence.

Naples – The Prefecture of Naples has announced increased security in the Centro Direzionale and surrounding areas following a serious incident of sexual assault reported by a woman on May 25. Law enforcement officials are working diligently, coordinated by the judicial authorities, to identify and bring to justice the perpetrator of the crime.

From the first hours after the incident, all operational procedures required for cases of particular social alarm were activated: obtaining witness statements, gathering evidence useful for the investigation, and initiating the search for the alleged perpetrator.

Prefect Michele di Bari expressed deep concern over the incident and emphasized that all institutions are collaborating to ensure the safety of citizens. "We are strengthening security in the affected area and surrounding areas to ensure greater safety," he stated. He also called for cooperation between law enforcement, the judiciary, and the public, calling it crucial to the success of the investigation.
