Nightlife in Vomero: A flurry of checks in pubs and streets, with fines totaling €5.

Extraordinary patrols continue in Naples' nightlife areas . Yesterday evening, officers from the Vomero Police Station, along with the "Nibbio" units from the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue, the Campania Crime Prevention Unit, the Local Police, and staff from the Naples Local Health Authority (ASL), conducted a large-scale operation in the hilly neighborhood.

The activity is part of a plan implemented by the Naples Police Headquarters to increase the presence of law enforcement in the busiest areas during the evening and night hours.

Over one hundred people identified

During the checks, a total of 105 people were identified, 32 of whom were already known to law enforcement. The officers also checked 32 vehicles.

During the investigation, two administrative seizures and one administrative detention were issued. Four traffic violations were also reported.

Checks on premises and sanctions

Particular attention was also paid to businesses in the nightlife district . Law enforcement inspected 15 businesses, including bars, pubs, and clubs.

During the inspections, several significant administrative irregularities and non-compliances were discovered. The owners of some businesses were charged with violations, resulting in fines totaling approximately €5.

Presidium in the most frequented areas

The checks are part of the prevention and monitoring activities implemented in the city areas most affected by the presence of young people and tourists on weekends, with the aim of strengthening urban safety and verifying compliance with administrative regulations and the Highway Code.
