Yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, May 13th, the State Police deployed an extraordinary patrol service in the areas of Scampia, Miano, and Piscinola . The operation, conducted by officers from the Scampia Police Station with the support of the Local Police, focused on preventing and suppressing crimes in general, ranging from combating drug dealing to illegal commercial activity.
Police arrested a 46-year-old man for illegal possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. During the checks, two other individuals were fined for possession of narcotics intended for personal use. At the same time, officers identified an unauthorized business: the manager was reported for occupying municipal property and for violations of the Consolidated Building Act.
The same individual was fined administratively for retailing food products without a SCIA (Certified Notification of Commencement of Business) or a health SCIA. The total amount of the administrative fines imposed is €8.000. During the operation, 63 individuals were identified, 14 vehicles were inspected, and the whereabouts of 10 individuals subject to restrictive measures or alternatives to detention were verified.
