Naples: A 17-year-old driver was shot at and crashed while fleeing the Cavalleggeri area.

Naples – Tense moments erupted this morning on Via Cavalleggeri d'Aosta, where Carabinieri officers from the Mobile Radio Unit responded to an alleged attempted robbery.

According to an initial reconstruction, still being examined by investigators, several unknown individuals in an SUV allegedly targeted a 17-year-old who was driving a car. The young man, attempting to escape the attack, made a sudden maneuver, crashing into several parked cars.

Despite the impact, the minor was unharmed. During the frantic scene, the alleged robbers reportedly fired several shots, but caused no injuries or damage.

The Carabinieri of the Bagnoli Company are investigating the incident, working to reconstruct the exact circumstances and verify the veracity of the 17-year-old's account. The young man has also been charged with driving without a license.
