Naples, Police and City Council renewed their commitment to the Sanità district: sport and legality are at the heart of the project.

Naples confirms its role as a hub for social innovation with the renewal of the memorandum of understanding between the State Police and the City Council, signed today at the "Cristallini73" complex in the Sanità district . In attendance were the Chief of Police, Prefect Vittorio Pisani, and Mayor Gaetano Manfredi. The agreement strengthens a collaboration aimed at promoting the development of younger generations, social cohesion, and respect for the rules through sports and education.

Since 2021, the former Mendicicomio complex has housed the Youth Section of the Fiamme Oro Sports Group, a historic police force organization that has combined sport and civic values ​​since 1954. Prefect Pisani recalled the long tradition and Olympic and Paralympic successes of Fiamme Oro athletes, emphasizing the importance of the 40 Youth Sections and the 5500 registered youth, true ambassadors of the principles of the State Police.

The project stands out for its special attention to women and residents of the neighborhood, offering opportunities for inclusion and well-being through sports that develop self-esteem, self-defense, and a culture of legality. The proposed activities represent concrete tools for emancipation and protection, strengthening the social fabric and enhancing the local area.
