A 38-year-old man was arrested by State Police overnight in the emergency room of the Vecchio Pellegrini Hospital in Naples. He faces charges of assault and resisting a public officer. He was also charged with insulting a public official and disrupting a public service.
The intervention was carried out by officers from the Montecalvario and Dante police stations, alerted by the Operations Room to the presence of a disturbing individual inside the hospital facility.
According to the reconstruction, the police found the 38-year-old clearly agitated. A doctor reported that the man had obstructed the execution of some tests, disrupting the emergency room's operations by demanding to receive care before other waiting patients.
