From September 15 to 30, 2026, applications will be open for the new ASMEL Maxi Notice, which selects graduates, diploma holders, and specialized workers for positions in local authorities throughout Italy. The selection process includes a remote test and guarantees access to a list of suitable candidates valid for three years.

ASMEL 2026 Major Notice: Over 1.700 Hires in Italian Municipalities, Applications Open from September 15th
The fifth ASMEL Maxi Notice for the creation of 39 lists of suitable candidates for hiring by Italian Local Authorities has been officially launched on the national InPA portal. The application window will be open from September 15 to 30, 2026, and will be open to graduates, diploma holders, and specialized workers wishing to apply for one or more of the professional profiles listed in the notice, provided they meet the specific requirements for each role.
The selection process includes a remote pre-selection test consisting of 60 multiple-choice questions. Once this stage is completed, eligible candidates will be placed on lists valid for three years. They will then be able to participate in the calls published by participating organizations and choose the most suitable job opportunities based on the area and the type of contract offered, whether fixed-term or permanent.
This edition's new features include two new professional profiles, introduced to meet the needs expressed by municipalities: Official with expertise in European, national, and regional funding, and Official with expertise in public contracts.
The procedure, established by Article 3-bis of Legislative Decree no. 80/2021, allows local authorities to manage aggregated selections, reducing average hiring times to approximately four to five weeks. This system has already facilitated over 1.700 hirings in more than 1.000 Italian local administrations, offering candidates easier and more flexible access to local public administration.
ASMEL, the Association for Subsidiarity and Modernization of Local Authorities, which brings together over 4.900 administrations, continues to support local authorities in the joint management of this important national process, promoting the efficiency and modernization of public recruitment across the country.
