The six hangars in Nisida are ready

In the run-up to the September regatta, one of the key aspects is the infrastructure in Nisida. In the military area of ​​the marina, the six hangars intended to house the teams competing in the Preliminary Regatta have been completed.

The facilities represent one of the most visible pieces of the organizational machinery that is accompanying the arrival of the America's Cup in Naples. However, the teams' presence will not be limited to the September event.

Bagnoli will be the operational heart in 2027
Work continues in the Bagnoli area, which will house the teams' operational bases for the 2027 America's Cup.

The goal is to create a true competition hub, capable of hosting teams, coaches, and staff for months. The teams will remain in Naples until the conclusion of the competition, scheduled for the end of July 2027.

For the city, this means transforming a major sporting event into a permanent fixture, with benefits not only for the sailing world, but also for tourism, the economy, employment, and international promotion.

The Race Village on the Seafront

The America's Cup will also enter the heart of the city. The Race Village, a space designed to accompany the races with free events and activities open to the public, is planned for Lungomare Caracciolo.

The sailing spectacle will be accompanied by a program designed to engage residents and visitors, bringing the competition directly to the Neapolitan waterfront and connecting the race course to the city's most iconic landmarks.

September will be the first test

The Preliminary Regatta in September will be of strategic importance for the teams. It will be an opportunity to test their skills on the race course, analyze the conditions in the Gulf, and study their opponents' strategies.
