Atrani prepares for the Blue Fish Festival with Tony Tammaro and the D'Altrocanto Company.

One of the most anticipated summer events on the Amalfi Coast returns to Atrani: the Blue Fish Festival, scheduled for August 22nd and 23rd. The event offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the culinary tradition of local seafood, especially blue fish, and to immerse yourself in the charming atmosphere of the village, adorned with maritime-inspired decorations such as fishing nets and handcrafted lights.

The gastronomic journey will wind between the beach and the Dragone Valley, involving the town's historic restaurants that will offer traditional recipes passed down through the generations. These include zucchini flower zeppolina with anchovies, anchovy flan with aubergines, zucchini, and peppers in lemon leaves, mezzo pacchero with cherry tomatoes and fried aubergines, as well as fried anchovy and calamari specialties and desserts such as fruit salad and lemon profiteroles.

The festival will open on August 22nd with tastings, followed by a concert by the Compagnia D'Altrocanto at 21 pm, featuring Mediterranean-inspired music and dance. The closing event is scheduled for August 23rd in Piazzale Marinella, with a concert by Tony Tammaro, known for his ironic and engaging repertoire, who will enliven the square with a festive atmosphere.

The festival's main locations will be Piazzale Marinella, Largo Alagno, and Viale della Metamorfosi, where history, flavor, and music will blend to showcase the maritime and touristic identity of Atrani, one of the jewels of the Amalfi Coast.
