Naples: Man stabbed in the abdomen while breaking up a brawl in Molosiglio: 68-year-old seriously injured

More bloodshed overnight in the heart of Naples, where street violence continues to leave a trail of injuries and public alarm. The latest serious incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. near the Molosiglio Gardens, near the city's port area, transforming the green space into the scene of a fight that quickly escalated into the use of knives.

The injury and the rush to the hospital

Officers from the Naples Central Carabinieri Company responded to the emergency room of the Vecchio Pellegrini hospital following the arrival of an injured man. The victim, a 68-year-old Ukrainian citizen, arrived at the Pignasecca hospital with a deep stab wound to the abdomen.

Doctors immediately transferred him to the operating room to suture the internal wound. The man, although not in imminent danger of dying, remains hospitalized under close medical monitoring with a guarded prognosis.

The attempt to act as a peacemaker
