He was caught while making drug sales on Via Firenze, in Naples. For this reason, a 31-year-old man, with a criminal record, was arrested by State Police officers on charges of illegal possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
The operation took place in the afternoon, during a patrol organized by officers from the Vicaria-Mercato and Vasto-Arenaccia police stations. The officers, passing along Via Firenze, observed the 31-year-old entering and exiting a business and then handing something to several people in exchange for money.
The officers intervened to stop the supply and apprehended the man. During the search, he was found in possession of three bars of hashish, totaling approximately 4 grams, and 40 euros in various denominations.
The investigation continued inside the business where the man had been seen entering and exiting. There, officers found two more packages and 32 bars of hashish, weighing a total of approximately 80 grams.
Three ecstasy pills, a kitchen knife with traces of the drug, precision scales, and various materials believed to be used for drug packaging were also seized from the premises. Following the operation, the 31-year-old was arrested and handed over to judicial authorities for further investigation.
