Carabinieri checks in Casal di Principe: arrests and reports

An extraordinary territorial control operation, conducted by the Carabinieri Stations and the Operational and Radiomobile Units of the Marcianise and Aversa Companies, involved Casal di Principe yesterday evening, September 18th.

Ninety-five individuals and 40 vehicles were deployed. Twenty-nine personal searches, two local searches, and one vehicle search were also conducted, also aimed at identifying weapons or other items related to illegal activities.

At the conclusion of the operations, a prison order for concurrent sentences was executed against a 53-year-old man residing in Casal di Principe, who was taken to prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities.

A 28-year-old resident of Casal di Principe was charged with alleged fraud and computer fraud, as well as drug laws. A 38-year-old resident of Cancello ed Arnone was charged with receiving stolen goods. Four people were charged for repeated driving with a revoked license, in violation of the Highway Code, within the past two years.

A 56-year-old Tunisian citizen was also reported to the judicial authorities for violating the regulations on illegal entry and residence in the country, while a 53-year-old Belgian citizen was reported for spending counterfeit currency.

The service is part of a broader territorial control effort in the Aversa countryside, aiming to strengthen our presence in the area, ensure compliance with measures imposed by the judicial authorities, and prevent criminal activity and illegal conduct.

All those charged are currently presumed innocent pending a final verdict. The documents have been forwarded to the competent judicial authority for further evaluation.
