Caserta: 12 drivers' licenses revoked for using cell phones while driving.

 Caserta – Road safety and the prevention of dangerous driving behavior were the focus of a coordinated, wide-ranging enforcement operation conducted by the Carabinieri of the Caserta Company overnight: 12 licenses were confiscated, and 106 people and 67 vehicles were checked.

This is the outcome of the activity that has affected various areas of the Caserta territory by the military

During the investigation, 21 traffic violations were reported, resulting in the revocation of 12 driving licenses for using cell phones while driving.

This data confirms the Carabinieri's attention to one of the most dangerous behaviors for road safety. Using a cell phone while driving can significantly reduce the driver's attention and reaction time, increasing the risk of accidents.

During the operation, the Carabinieri also reported three people responsible for various traffic violations.

The suspects are a young man born in 2006 who was found driving without a license several times over the course of two years; a 25-year-old from Caserta who refused to undergo tests to determine whether he was impaired by drug use while driving; and a woman born in 1998 from Marcianise who was driving while intoxicated.
