Pozzuoli: Women take center stage at the San Domenico Center

Pozzuoli remains a center of attention for its capacity for community building: the city's women actively participated in an evening titled "Bella a modo mio" (Beautiful My Way) at the San Domenico Shopping Center, as part of the "Al Centro, Donne" (Women at the Center) project. The initiative, conceived by Nunzia Schiano, head of the center's services, aimed to provide a space for discussion and sharing about beauty, well-being, self-awareness, and image during a period also marked by the earthquakes that have struck the area.

Four professionals offered different perspectives: Brigida Maddaluno of Studio Fisioterapico Rehab opened the evening by discussing wellness and body care; Ornella Vendemini of Officina delle Erbe herbalist's shop explored beauty through nature and the balance between health and lifestyle; Tiziana Portanova of TiPi Social Agency analyzed the relationship between beauty, social media, and artificial intelligence, describing the aesthetic models we are exposed to daily; Marcella Innocente of Beauty & Serenity presented approaches and treatments dedicated to physical well-being, including passive gymnastics and radiofrequency.

The evening was hosted by Monica Schiano of DS Studio, a presenter who expertly guided the discussions and engaged the audience with her professional and spontaneous approach. Valentina Scotto di Tella, director of the Pelvic Center, also enriched the discussion, contributing to the discussion.

As often happens at these gatherings, conviviality was also present: Sake Sushi, the event's sponsor, offered sushi finger food and a toast to the guests, creating a moment of sharing among the protagonists present.

The central message is clear: there is no single model of beauty, but multiple ways to feel good, to value oneself, and to choose to be oneself. In a city still reeling from earthquakes, the initiative demonstrates the ability of Pozzuoli women to be there, to come together, and to build community. While the earth may tremble, the women of Pozzuoli continue to be there, creating opportunities for dialogue and mutual support.
