Naples – A serious episode of violence erupting within organized crime circles has reached a turning point in the space of just a few months. This morning, State Police officers, executing a pre-trial detention order issued by the Juvenile Court's investigating judge at the request of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, arrested a young man on suspicion of attempted murder aggravated by mafia methods, as well as the illegal possession and carrying of weapons and ammunition.

The operation conducted by the Naples Flying Squad stems from the bloody ambush that took place on March 6th in the streets of the Rione Luzzatti neighborhood, in the Poggioreale district.
