Naples – A casual street fight nearly turned tragic this morning on the western outskirts of Naples. A 28-year-old man was stabbed in the back of the head during a traffic dispute on Via Mario Gigante, on the western outskirts of Naples.

The incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. According to an initial police reconstruction of the incident, the 28-year-old was in his car when, for reasons still under investigation but related to traffic, a heated argument broke out with three people.

The argument quickly degenerated into a physical fight, during which one of the attackers pulled out a knife, striking the young man in the back of the head.

The alarm was raised around 6:00 a.m., when State Police officers from the Bagnoli Police Station responded to the San Paolo hospital, where the boy had been taken for first aid.

Fortunately, doctors found only minor injuries: after being treated, the 28-year-old was discharged.

The State Police are currently investigating the case, committed to reconstructing the exact dynamics of the attack and identifying the three individuals who fled immediately after the injury.
