Twenty thousand attendees and numerous purchase orders: this is the balance of the 31st edition of Navigare, the boat show with sea trials at the Circolo Posillipo, in Naples, organized by the Associazione Nautica Regionale Campana. And the president Gennaro Amato, in tracing the report of this edition, has ready the project for 2019 scheduled on the Neapolitan seafront. "The public participation in the event was extremely valid - says Amato -. This indicates that despite the summer being over, the desire for the sea still animates the interest of many people who are already evaluating the possibility of buying or changing boats for next year. But the attendance data is particularly valid for the quality of the visitors, many people came to Naples from neighboring regions, such as Puglia, Lazio, Calabria and Molise, but even from Abruzzo, Milan or Veneto, demonstrating that Navigare is not just a regional event". The nautical sector, between 4 and 12 meters, has certainly regained ground and the production, also considering the numerous new models presented at the event and the projects under development for 2019, reveal the state of health of the sector. This is why the leaders of the ANRC are ready to start a show with sea trials of certainly more daring dimensions and expectations. “The nautical sector of Campania – says Gennaro Amato – is ready to bring an event in the water of dimensions adequate to our shipbuilding movement. This week we have an appointment with the councilor for the sea Daniela Villani, to present the rendering and the feasibility plans for an exhibition at the Rotonda Diaz and on part of the seafront, to start building the event that will bring, at sea and on land, development to the sector and, through related economics, to the entire city of Naples”.
