TikTok, flash mob of mothers in Villa Comunale. Europa Verde: “Appeal to Mattarella, more security and protection for minors on the web. Collection of signatures started”
"In just one morning we have collected over 500 signatures to ask the Head of State, Sergio Mattarella, to implement all necessary measures to guarantee the safety of our children on the web. Families must be careful but there is also a need for strict rules. Some platforms, such as TIKTOK, are widely followed by children who register giving false information about their age and this is known to everyone. We must demand that filters be placed on the videos that are published, as other social networks do, otherwise we ask that the APP be blocked.
We must demand that those who manage these platforms seriously worry about the small users who are not protected today. We must come to terms with the fact that the virtual world is increasingly comparable to the real one and, just as you cannot walk around the streets with a gun, we do not see why there should not be clear and rigid rules in virtual squares".
This was stated by the regional councilor of Europa Verde, Francesco Emilio Borrelli and the councilor of the I municipality, Benedetta Sciannimanica, who this morning organized a flash mob in the Villa Comunale in which Paola Adamo, president of the TU Tutte Unite Association, the lawyer Chiara d'Ago of the Circolo Napoli VI.Ve. of the Acli of Chaia, the music school Ritmarte Lab, the sports association il Cerchio Magico of via Piscicelli, the football school Virtus Belsito participated.
