Whether for cars, indoor environments or any other product, ozone sanitizers have had an incredible boom on the market in the last year: the reasons are obvious, to be found in the fact that the Covid emergency has made it necessary to sanitize environments that are entered more frequently.
Living in a sanitized environment has always been crucial, only recently has this need become public and there are more and more people who turn to the market to buy a ozone sanitizer. Let's start from the basis of everything, that is, from the characteristics of ozone in terms of sanitization.
Ozone is considered the best disinfectant available for eliminating germs and bacteria: it has an enormous oxidizing power that makes it suitable for this purpose, in some cases even more than traditional chemical detergents used for cleaning, for example, homes or other closed environments.
Household appliances increasingly in demand
For all these reasons, ozone sanitizers are conquering the market, becoming among the most requested household appliances. The Ministry of Health itself and the WHO, the World Health Organization, have recognized the properties of ozone, labeling ozone as an extremely effective aid for its sterilizing and disinfecting power.
It goes without saying that ozone is now seen as one of the most effective solutions for disinfecting closed environments, thus helping to limit the risk of spreading the Covid virus. The term 'limit' was used deliberately, given that it is obviously not possible to eliminate it completely, but according to experts, one of the ways to limit it is precisely to clean the air inside closed environments.
How Ozone Sanitizers Work
Starting from this, ozone sanitizers exploit their ability to sanitize the air against the presence of so-called pathogenic agents: we are therefore talking about bacteria, viruses, molds, even insects that can be harmful such as mosquitoes, ticks and cockroaches.
Ozone sanitizers are even used to purify the air from bad odors. This is due to the fact that ozone molecules (O3) have the peculiarity of combining with other substances, oxidizing and neutralizing them.
This is why today the ozone sanitizer is widely used (in some cases even mandatory) for accommodation facilities for example, or for public transport which must necessarily be cleaned with this molecule in order to limit the spread of Covid.
