There were 16.232 new Covid cases in Italy in the last 24 hours, up from 13.844 yesterday.
There are 364.804 swabs, almost 15 thousand more than yesterday, but the positivity rate is still slightly increasing from 3,9% to 4,4%. The number of deaths is stable, and still very high: 360 (yesterday 364), for a total of 3.920.945 victims since the beginning of the epidemic. The decline in hospitalizations continues: intensive care is 55 less (yesterday -75) with 174 admissions today, and falls to 3.021, while ordinary hospitalizations fall by 690 units (yesterday -471), and are now 22.094. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.

The region with the most cases today is Lombardy (+2.509), followed by Campania (+1.912), Puglia (+1.895), Piedmont (+1.646), Sicily (+1.412) and Lazio (+1.311). The total number of infected people in Italy rises to 3.920.945. Those recovered are 19.125 (yesterday 20.552), for a total of 3.330.392. The number of people currently positive is still decreasing, 3.439 fewer (yesterday -7.080): the still active sick are now 472.196. Of these, 447.081 patients are in home isolation.
