The Campania Region Crisis Unit announced that today "vaccinations will take place regularly, according to the calls, in the vaccination centers of the region".
Yesterday afternoon, the alarm was raised about a possible closure of the regional vaccination hubs for today, due to a lack of doses. Just under 5 thousand doses of Pfizer were then recovered, which will allow the administrations to continue regularly tomorrow.

“The real data that needs to be reported is the dramatic shortage of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, which represents an obstacle to achieving the objective”. This was written by the president of the Campania region, Vincenzo De Luca, in a note to respond to the government commissioner for the Covid emergency, Francesco Paolo Figliuolo. “Another fact of the concrete reality – adds De Luca -, beyond the national schemes, is the accumulation of AstraZeneca not used due to various unavailabilities. It is for this vaccine that we will proceed to use it also for economic categories”.
