Castellammare. Anti-drug operation by the Carabinieri between Monte Faito and the Lettere area: more than a thousand cannabis plants found and destroyed
The Carabinieri of the Castellammare di Stabia company – as part of the services aimed at combating the illicit production of narcotics ordered by the provincial command of Naples – carried out an anti-drug operation in the area of the Lattari mountains.
The military, with the support of the Carabinieri of the Pontecagnano helicopter unit, found on Mount Faito - within state-owned land - 978 cannabis indica plants, each about 2 meters tall. The plants were destroyed.
Same service in Lettere, in the San Nicola area. There the Carabinieri located, found and destroyed another 142 cannabis indica plants for a total “booty” of 1120. The services will continue in the coming days.
