THEpenitentiary institution he ended up at the center of media and judicial attention for the violence perpetrated by prison police officers against inmates: an investigation that was closed yesterday against 120 people and will soon lead to a trial.
The predecessor of the Rotundo, Elisabetta Palmieri (not involved in the investigation into the violence of April 2020) was removed from the Dap, at the end of last July, because she allowed her partner to enter the penitentiary facility, without authorization, and made him attend the visit of Senator Cinzia Leone, on July 23.
