AThe epidemic curve in Italy is still clearly growing, marking today a new record for the fourth wave: 28.632 cases (yesterday 26.109). Never so many this year and we have to go back to November 2020 to get close to a similar figure: on November 27 of last year, in fact, there were 28.352 cases of contagion.
The swabs processed are 669.160 with a positivity rate rising to 4,3% (+0,6%). The deaths are 120 (yesterday 123) for a total of 135.421 victims since the beginning of the epidemic.
Hospitalizations are also increasing, with intensive care rising by 6 units (yesterday +47) with 70 admissions today, and reaching 923, while ordinary hospitalizations are 182 more (yesterday +29) and are 7.520 in total. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
