SThe appeal trial against Gaetano Ronga, from San Martino Valle Caudina, aged 25, defended in the appeal trial by the lawyer Vittorio Fucci and sentenced in the first instance, when he was assisted by another lawyer, to a prison sentence of 3 years for the crimes of violence, aggravated injury and mistreatment in the family, is being held before the Court of Appeal of Naples, Section IV.
In particular, Ronga, subjected to the measure of removal from the family home, was placed under house arrest in July 2021 as a result of an aggravation for violation of the precautionary measure. He had been convicted of having perpetrated mistreatment and injuries against his cohabiting partner with conduct that had continued since 2019.
At the end of the appeal hearing, the Panel of the IV Section, accepting the defense thesis of the lawyer Vittorio Fucci, overturning the first degree sentence, issued by the Court of Avellino, acquitted Ronga Gaetano Emilio of the crimes attributed to him because the fact does not exist and, at the same time, released him, revoking the precautionary measure.
