Bagnoli. The remediation operations in the former Eternit area are nearing completion: the soil contaminated by asbestos from the site area will last approximately 5 days Bagnoli-Coroglio will be transported to the port of Salerno to be loaded onto a ship bound for the authorized Harnosand plant in Sweden. This was announced by Invitalia.
Thus, “the second major transport of waste from the ex Eternit area was carried out, in intermodal mode by road/ship”, under the supervision of the Invitalia works management and thanks to modern real-time tracking systems.
The involvement of the contractor of the Temporary Grouping of Companies headed by the Teorema SpA Company and four road transport companies is expected. During the transport activities, the fibre monitoring system present both on site and in the external areas is active. Another trip is planned for the month of April.
