Yesterday evening, the agents of the General Prevention Office, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Centre, intervened in via Principe di San Nicandro pfor the reporting of a family dispute.
The police officers, arriving on the scene, found a man who, at the sight of them, started to inveigh against them, attacking them with kicks and punches until, with no small difficulty and after a struggle, he was stopped.
At that moment, the operators were approached by the attacker's wife who said that, shortly before, her husband, in a very agitated state, had argued with his father over trivial matters and had pushed him until he fell to the ground.
The man, a 38 year old from Napoli, was arrested for assault and resisting a public official and reported for personal injury.
