Napoli, attempts to rob a person in Porta Nolana: 35-year-old Moroccan with police records and illegal on national territory arrested
Last night, the officers of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Center, intervened in via Carmignano following the report of a person with cutting wounds.
The police officers, arriving on the scene, noticed a man who, at the sight of them, ran away in the direction of Porta Nolana but was caught and, not without difficulty, stopped.
At that moment, the operators were approached by the injured person who said that, shortly before, the criminal had tried to rob her of her cell phone and money by threatening her with a knife with which he had then wounded her in the leg.
MR, a 35-year-old Moroccan with a police record and an illegal immigrant on the national territory, was arrested for attempted robbery, personal injury and resisting a public official, as well as reported for failure to comply with the order to leave the territory of the State issued by the Police Chief of Potenza on 26 April 2019.
