Carabinieri Forestali daily engaged in checks aimed at environmental safety. This time we are in Forio di Ischia in Campotese location and the forest rangers of Casamicciola Terme they checked aarea of 1500 square meters which in the land registry was found to be "catalogued" as vineyard.
The investigations of Forestry have allowed us to ascertain that in that land instead of cultivating and caring for the vine the activity was carried out shipbuilding and construction.
The owner – a 42 year old local – will answer to the judicial authorities of illegal waste management special dangerous and non-dangerous products from illegal activities, illegal discharge of waste water and illegal building since the area was completely cemented and served as a garage.
The Carabinieri have thus seized the entire area containing the waste stored in the yard and a raised container used as a workshop and mechanical laboratory. Mechanical parts and 16 boats on which investigations are underway by the forestry police aimed at identifying the owners.
