A cyclist died last night in Turin in a collision with a police car.
Had 33 years, originally from Puglia, of the province of Bari. The dynamics of the accident are not yet clear, but according to an initial reconstruction the cyclist he was crossing the pedestrian crossing Royal Gardens to Royal Park Course, before the underpass of Corso Regina Margherita, in the city centre.
The first to help the victim were the patrol officers who performed cardiac massage, until the arrival of the 118 ambulance, but the cyclist's conditions immediately appeared desperate. The man died shortly after.
According to some witnesses, the patrol car had the flashing lights working but no siren. Now it will be the video camera images of public and private surveillance in the area to shed light on what happened.
