The investigating judge of Naples has ordered the precautionary custody in a juvenile penal institution for the 17-year-old who stabbed his mother to death in the historic center two days ago.
This morning the hearing was held to validate the arrest warrant for the crime of aggravated homicide, issued by the Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Naples on Wednesday evening.
The murder occurred in the late afternoon of Wednesday 15 June, when officers from the General Prevention Office and the Decumani Police Station, on orders from the Operations Centre, intervened in Rampe San Giovanni Maggiore following a report of an injured person calling for help from the balcony of a house.
The police officers, arriving on the scene, noticed, on the first floor of the building, a young man in a very agitated state and with blood on his hands, who said that his mother had harmed herself with a knife.
The police, thanks to the support of the Fire Brigade, entered the apartment where they found, lying on the bed in her room, the womens lifeless and ascertained that the young man, shortly before, had wounded her numerous times with a knife at the height of an argument that arose over trivial reasons.
