In a car with 16 kilograms of marijuana: a 40-year-old from Rome was arrested on the highway, late yesterday evening, on the Salerno-Caserta stretch at the San Nicola La Strada junction.
The Carabinieri of the Operations Section of the Marcianise Company blocked and searched the Opel Astra driven by the man who was entering the A30 motorway towards Rome.
The drugs were inside the trunk of the car, contained in 15 heat-sealed bags and were, in all likelihood, intended to supply the drug dealing areas of the capital and the Roman coast. The arrested man was locked up in prison in Naples.
