“We decided to make a cartoon for very young children to help them understand what is happening in these years – comments Carmine Papace President of Terramore the cooperative promoting Biologicamente – It will be up to their generation to carry forward a discussion on ethics in agriculture. We need to be aware of a system of values to guide our choices with correct actions and behaviors in a sustainable management of the territory, both locally and globally. The prosperity of the entire territory, understood as both a biophysical and socio-economic environment, is the result of a holistic approach to life”.
The science of sustainability that is the basis of the reflection on the conditions that can determine the transition from the linear economy to the circular economy, has as its main objective the conservation over time of natural capital and its ability to produce services for man without being violated. A vision that implies not only a redefinition of principles and practices, but also of paradigm.
Organic and Sqnpi certified agriculture is suggested as a practice in which natural resources are preserved, in conditions of well-being for people and animals and of fair income for agricultural workers, through actions that restore beauty to degraded landscapes and reconnect humanity to the territories in which food production takes place.
