The anti-drug raids and arrests carried out by the Carabinieri of the Castello di Cisterna group in the hot areas of Caivano and brusciano.
Last night in via Necropoli, a road in front of Parco Verde, the military of the local company together with the Carabinieri of the Campania regiment searched a house.
The apartment – transformed into a bunker on the top floor for the retail sale of drugs – was protected by a reinforced door and two bars. The soldiers broke through the obstacles and surprised 31-year-old Giuseppe Di Micco and 30-year-old Domenico Buonuomo while they were packaging the drugs.
The two were being hunted but tried to get rid of the drugs by throwing them out the window. The drugs were collected by the soldiers who were stationed under the building. 100 grams of hashish, a dose of cocaine, 3 9×21 gfl bullets and various materials for packaging drugs were found and seized.
Also seized was the sum of cash – considered the proceeds of the crime – of 3995 euros. During the operations the carabinieri dismantled and seized a video surveillance system with 12 cameras that “protected” the illegal activity. The two arrested, locals and already known to the police, will answer for the illicit production, trafficking and possession of narcotic or psychotropic substances and illegal possession of weapons.
In Brusciano, instead, the Carabinieri of the operational section of the Castello di Cisterna company arrested for drug dealing the 62-year-old Giovanni Accietto, the 34-year-old Eugenio Di Maio and a 51-year-old with no criminal record, the three are locals. The soldiers, during an ad hoc service, noticed the three in via Borsellino of the “219” while they were selling drugs to some customers. The one with no criminal record was delivering the doses while the two already known to the police were “monitoring” the area.
The Carabinieri intervened and stopped them. Searched, they were found in possession of 237 doses of crack and 65 doses of cocaine. The sum of 5.700 euros in cash believed to be the proceeds of the crime was also seized. The arrested are awaiting trial
