Exchange of votes in Cercola. He was tracked down in the neighborhood Vomero di Napoli Savior Ronza, accused together with Mario Chiummariello to have beaten up one of eight people investigated as part of an investigation into an alleged Trade di votes which, according to investigators, would have occurred during the last regional elections of September 20 and 21, 2020, in the hamlet Caravita of the Vesuvian municipality of cercola.
Ronza had been wanted since last July, when eight people, including the regional councilor of Campania Carmine Mocerino, 53 years old (De Luca Group president), have been entered in the register of suspects. Together with Mocerino, several individuals considered by the DDA to be linked to the organized crime: among these precisely Pasquale Salvatore Ronza, 33 years old, nicknamed “calimero”, and Mario Chiummariello, 34 years old, nicknamed “guappariello”, for whom precautionary custody was ordered in prison.
Both are accused of having beaten one of the eight suspects, Cyrus Needs, 47 years old, who in front of a polling station in Cercola allegedly procured votes on behalf of Mocerino: he was found guilty of not having paid a thousand euros as a bribe to De Luca Bossa Minichini clan of the neighborhood Ponticelli di Napoli, for the buying and selling of preferences. An activity for which he had been provided with 10 thousand euros, according to investigators. The Carabinieri arrested Chiummariello in July, and Ronza was also arrested yesterday.
