SalernoSheep walking in the cemetery of Salerno to graze grass, plants and flowers even near and around the graves. It happens in the early morning today at the cemetery in the Brignano area of the provincial capital of Campania.
The scene was also photographed by some citizens who then shared the images on social media, making them go viral. The Municipal Police identified the owners of the flock who risk a fine and an administrative penalty for losing control of the animals.
The municipal administration could also report them for compensation for any damage caused and for any other civil and criminal liability related to careless custody. In the meantime, the ASL of Salerno has already carried out checks on the livestock, which appears to be regularly vaccinated.
The Carabinieri are informed of the incident. The president of the transparency commission of the Municipality of Salerno, Antonio Cammarota, has arranged for the hearing of the municipal manager in charge of cemetery services on Wednesday 10 August to verify the safety conditions of the cemetery.
