The live final of the fourth edition of the Aquara Music Fest was held on Saturday 27 August, organized by the "L'Alveare" Cultural Association.
During the evening, the five finalists of the "Fioravante Serraino" music contest performed: Aftersat (folk rock) from Pozzuoli (NA), Cornio (it pop) from Turin, Simone Ruggiero (indie folk) from Anzio (RM), Valentina Indelicato & Vanja Maugeri (pop) from Catania, and finally the VRF Project (pop rock swing bossa nova) from Bari.
The technical jury, attended by the maestro Guido Guglielminetti, declared Aftersat the winners with the "Aquara Music Fest" prize for the best live performance, while the critics prize jury attended by the poet Rita Stanzione declared the winner the Roman singer-songwriter Simone Ruggiero for the text of “Marco Polo at the court of Kublai Khan”.
Completing the juries were the MM° Carlo Inglese (vice president) and Luca Ferruzzi (representative of the association) for the technical jury, and the writer Maria Capozzoli (vice president) and the poet Zairo Ferrante (representative of the association) for the jury Critics' Award.
Alongside the two prizes, two special mentions were awarded: the technical jury decided to assign it to Zärat and the islands for the stage presence and originality of the artistic proposal, while the critics' prize jury awarded it to Valentina Indelicato and Vanja Maugeri for the song “Blood-red hawthorn”.
Furthermore, Aftersat was awarded the "soundtrack" award by the L'alveare Cultural Association for the song "Luntano 'a te", a song that will promote the next edition of the Aquara Music Fest.
Finally, the association awarded two final awards which are the most voted song and the most voted competitor in the initial phase by the listening group. Both awards went to Simone Ruggiero who, evidently, brought both the critics' prize jury and the listening group to agree.
The live event, which took place in Piazza Vittorio Venero in Aquara, was broadcast live on the Association's Facebook page @acalveare. Finally, during the morning of Sunday 28 August, at the "Fioravante Serraino" Social and Cultural Center, to close the fourth edition of the Aquara Music Fest, there was Guido Guglielminetti's masterclass in music production, aimed at all the employees , those interested in the world of music, enthusiasts and emerging musical groups.
The event was sponsored by the public bodies Municipality of Aquara, UNCEM Campania, Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburni, Campania Region.
