Elvira Zaibra, 34, was returning from work when she was hit and killed by a motorcycle on the Naples seafront, in Via Caracciolo, on Sunday night. A camera filmed the scene and the video was acquired by the Naples Prosecutor's Office, which is investigating for road homicide.
In the images you can see the motorbike that hit her and then dragged her running at least one hundred kilometres per hour, wheelie. The front wheel hit her on the head and for her, despite immediate help, there was nothing that could be done.
She died in the emergency room of the San Paolo hospital. The motorcyclist is hospitalized with several fractures and is not in danger of life. He never got a license and this video worsens his situation. Eight months ago Elvira's brother died in similar circumstances: hit by a hit-and-run car in the Neapolitan neighborhood of Pianura.
At 11 am tomorrow, near the place where Elvira met her death, a demonstration is planned in which the victim's family will take part, as well as shopkeepers, citizens and politicians.
